Lift Table and Other Lifts FAQs
What is the maximum load capacity of this platform cart?
The maximum rated distributed load capacity is from 1 ton to 1.5 tons. Do not exceed this capacity to prevent equipment damage or personal injury.
Can this equipment be used to lift or transport personnel?
Absolutely not. The manual strictly prohibits the lifting and transportation of personnel.
What is the lifting height range of the platform?
The 1 ton lift table work range of the platform is between 550 mm to 1750 mm.
The 1.2 ton lift table work range of the platform is between 650 mm and 1840 mm.
The 1.5 ton lift table work range of the platform is between 680 mm and 1880 mm.
Can it be used outdoors or on uneven ground?
The equipment must only be used on firm, solid, and level indoor floors. Setting up or operating the machine in open areas or on slopes is strictly prohibited.
What should I do in case of an emergency during operation?
Immediately release the UP/Down push-button and switch off the main power or remove the plug.
What is the purpose of the Fine Adjustment Tilting feature?
The forcing screws allow the front of the platform to tilt by up to two inches. This feature helps in accurately aligning vehicle components (like battery packs) and compensates for uneven floors or difficult fastener locations.
How do I ensure the platform is stable when used as a stationary work surface?
Once the desired tilt or height is reached, thread both leveler screws inward until they meet the bottom of the platform. This provides extra contact points to stabilize the platform for servicing components.
Can I move the cart while a load is lifted?
No. Moving the lifting table while the load is lifted is strictly prohibited. Always lower the table to its lowest position before moving the cart with a load.
What kind of power supply is required?
The electrical system requires a 230V / 50Hz power supply, and the motor power is 1.2 kW.
What safety checks should the user perform daily?
Before operation, inspect the lift for any deformations, cracks, dents, or missing parts. Also, check hydraulic components like hoses for damage or signs of oil leaks.
Does the product require assembly after arrival?
Yes, simple assembly is required, including installing the handle and locking it with pins, and removing packaging materials such as blocks used for fixing the wheels.
How do the control buttons work?
The cart uses a push-button control system. Press the "UP" button to raise the platform and the "Down" button to lower it.
What is the voltage requirement for TCE mid-rise and low-rise lifts?
Most TCE mid-rise and low-rise lifts are equipped with a 110V power unit, allowing them to operate on standard household current for maximum convenience.
How stable is the TCE Mid-rise Lift during operation?
Engineered for maximum stability. When raised to its highest locked position, the extra-wide platform provides a secure base for vehicles up to 6,000 lbs., making it ideal for bodywork, wheel service, and detailing.
My TCE motorcycle lift is jerking or sticking. How do I fix this?
If your lift is new or hasn't been used for a while, the cylinder seal may be dry.
-
Ensure you have at least 100 PSI of air pressure.
-
Have two people slightly assist by lifting the platform manually while engaging the air. This "jump starts" the stuck seal.
-
Maintenance Tip: Always keep the cylinder seal lubricated with Air Tool Oil. A dry seal will eventually become brittle and leak, requiring a replacement kit.
What materials are used in TCE motorcycle lifts?
Most TCE motorcycle lift products are constructed from heavy-duty 10-gauge diamond plate steel to ensure durability and a non-slip surface.
