The metal tool box is heavy duty even if it looks like thin metal. Also it breaks down into 3 pieces. Makes it really easy to travel with it in any vehicle. I drive a toyota Prius and a honda civic and it fits in the trunk with ease.

I wanted to get something for my boyfriend that wasn't to big and bulky and easy to put away in small spaces and this was perfect! He's a fireman so the color was perfect and space was great for a lot of his tools and he loves that he can take the top off to bring it with him certain places and that it rolls anywhere. The quality is great and sturdiness definitely worth the money for a gift for him

I replaced a larger multi bin unit for this one, even though this one is slightly smaller. The great benefit is you can get to your tools from the front without having to pull apart the three segments.
With the last model, I had to completely disassemble all three pieces to get to my electric drill. Complete pain in the butt.
This is a much better solution! Happens to be well-made as well

Looked nice, lightweight, easy to roll. But just a little too small for our needs, and it arrived a little beat up. The bottom section being accessible without having to unstack everything was the main selling point for us so I was really looking forward to it working out, but just wasn't quiet wide enough to fit everything. Make sure you measure!

I must have been one of the lucky ones. I see a lot of people had the plastic corners damaged. Mine came in perfect condition, and it's beautiful. They packaged it very well in two boxes with Styrofoam for protection.
But this is exactly what I was looking for to suit my needs. I wanted to be able to compile all of my tools together, and be able to wheel it from my house with steps to my unattached garage. I love having the two drawers to easily access things like screwdrivers and wrenches. Plus, there are a couple of places for larger tools.

I love all of the storage in this tool box, the fact that they connect and can be used seperately and how easily it rolls.
The only thing I do not like is that it comes in just a set and I would love to be able to expand the box add another 2 drawer box for my sockets.

This product is worth getting the only issue I had was the adjustable handle to pull it around came off, so I had to re-screw it inside but other than that it fell off of a truck and still works great

I am a 50-something female who routinely shop at the HD stores and, once in a while, passed by the toolbox isle. I have been trying to find the most functional toolbox, the ones that you don't have to lift up the top boxes to access the bottom ones. I don't typically write reviews, but I couldn't contain myself with this item. This toolbox is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL one I have ever owned, and it is perfectly functional in the way that I need for my toolbox to be. The color vibrant, nice shine, nice locks on those individual boxes, appear sturdy and stable. Best of all, I don't have to take off one box to access another. One point taken off for the weight (if you have to lug it around or if you are petite), one point off for a plastic piece that came off at one corner because of packaging/transiting. We can't all be perfect. In all, the toolbox is an 8 out of 5!
This is an update. I wanted to buy one more and the price went up by $60 in one month. WTFudge?

Just added my tools and only few long tools didn't fit. Love the drawers and want to know if I can add additional drawers (org freak)? Rolls smoothly. Haven't disassembled yet for transport but probably will soon. All good for now just would go from good to GREAT if I could buy another section of drawers!

I have a large family so when we travel we have a lot of pantry items we need to take. I bought this to help solve our mobile pantry needs. This worked out perfect we had everything in one spot instead of multiple storage boxes. I added some shelf liners and a couple drawer dividers and this worked out perfect. Height wise it fit perfect in my GMC Terrain for our road trip.

It's the biggest little tool box you'll find. I'm using mine for motorcycle weekends. I can fit ALMOST everything I need in there. I have harbor freight tire spoons that are a little too long. But the bottom tip out drawer holds my 3/8 impact with extra room. The drawers aren't ball bearing but close with a firm press with thumbs on both ends. The locking clasps are high quality. The top aluminum handle doesn't flex under a substantial load(all sections connected). The frame doesn't collapse but a tiny bit while picking entire box but I will be picking it up into the truck from the side handles. The wheels roll super easy on the garage floor with no side to side slop. This isn't a cheaply made tool box. It arrived with a slight imperfection/dent from shipping on the face of the angled box. The bin that tips out is gravity induced closing. In other words, the weight of which is in the bin pulls it closed. I searched for about a year for the right tool box. Read every review known to man on every box. With careful consideration of size, tools need, weight of a loaded box, rollable, strength of structure, pretty much everything. And I'm going to say this is a 10 out of 10 on happiness with what I'm using it for. If i can pick anything unsatisfying it is strapping it in the truck bed. With a box like this the handle can interfere with sitting squarely against the bedside.

For $200 it's a decent product. It is small, but a good size for a track day tool box that I can put in the trailer. I wish it came with drawer liners. The very bottom drawer tilts out, which is an odd design choice. I'd prefer a normal sliding drawer, but I suppose it's built to a price point.

I like this tool box, it's a mix of steel and plastic which I think is perfect because steel can rust. It rolls well and is high enough quality. I wish it was larger, it's pretty small but they give you the dimensions so if it fits your needs, I do recommend it.

I really like this tool box. We keep it at our cabin for maintenance items. for a metal tool box it doesn't weigh too much even with tools in it. Plenty of other options for roller tool boxes but most are plastic and won't last or be a durable as this one! Great value for the $.

If you buy it used, expect it to be broken in at least one place.
I purchased a 2nd to replace one that was busted in a corner, and it was completely missing the middle section, bottom was broken and had the same issue on the top corner's plastic.
So I wound up keeping the first one and just using black duct tape to make it look nice.
Would not pay full price due to the small size and cheap construction. However, the used price puts it in the category of the plastic ones by name brands, and with that in mind I think it's good value for metal, if you just need something small to hold a few tools and small parts for an appartment.

I bought this with the idea of using it for camping/Jeep traveling. I put my utensils in the drawers, my larger cooking items in the bottom and extra camping gear on top.
When I stop for a night in a hotel, I can easily take just the sections I need in the hotel and stack my cooler on top.

The product arrived with the plastic corner broken, which I read was a common complaint on this product. It fits everything he needs nicely but is pretty heavy when loaded. The drawers need locks so they stay closed when driving. Overall we're happy with this product so far. We've only had it for a month but I would purchase again.

I love this! I use for a traveling jewelry making tool box. It is well made and easy to move and I have it loaded with tools. A couple of the plastic pieces are broken but it doesn't seem to matter. All in all, I highly recommend this.

My husband is a milwright. He has to lug his tools everywhere. I got this for his birthday and he loves it. Fits 90% of his tools (only because he has so many). Wish it came with locks, but he bought a Python lock which works well to keep the drawers shut while moving.

I love how easy this is to move, that you can lock the drawers, and its just a convenient size. We actually ended up keeping ours inside off in a corner.
It'd be fine outside in a shed but it's just small enough not to be inconvenient I guess.

My main criticism is that there is no way to lock all the drawers at the same time. It is possible to place a lock on the top opening and the lower bin, bu no way to lock the middle slide-out drawers.
