I love my new Torin 3 ton jack. I'm a mobile mechanic and it's important to have good equipment. This is my first purchase, but it will not be the last. The jack is so smooth raising vehicles. I have to recommend this jack to anyone looking to make a purchase!

Had a 2 ton but this 3 ton is much better

Bought this since the mounting point on a Tesla is a little different. My other jacks weren't able to do the job and this one is perfect.

Decent floor jack. I thought I could remove the side handles, as those are useless and get in the way. But, one of the bolts holding it on also supports the working parts of the jack. I'll probably still remove it, but need to figure out the bolt size and how to tighten it. The release is a little tricky as some have said. It's tight and gives way suddenly. I might weld a bar at the top of the handle to get a more leverage - T-handle. Hopefully it softens up with use.

Seems like it is harder to jack vehicle up compared to my craftsman 2 ton jack. Had to use two hands and extension bar that came with it. Kind of surprised. I'm assuming because it's a fast up. Still like it though.

like the jack . the handle should lock in but jack works great

When I lift the packaging box it was a little bit heavy than I thought, I did not have any idea how much it weigh because there was no weight specification on the description but because it is made of aluminum/steel I figured it was a little bit lighter than what I currently have which is all steel.
The Owner's manual is incomplete, it does not contain what fluid to be used if it has to be serviced. Also the instruction when first setting it the first time was on another sheet, the illustrations were so little and very difficult to discern. I have to go to YOUTUBE to be able to find correctly what I need to do properly to get it going.
Very poor owner's manual, they could have done better.
I'll do a follow up review after using it.

I should have bought this 5 years ago . Very smooth operation and makes me feel safer.

I got tired of using the emergency jack when working in cars so I purchased this hydraulic jack. It's a tad heavy but it's not for mobile use so it's bearable. I've successfully worked on both my mustang and Ford Escape. Helping me do work on the car personally instead of paying someone else.

Very well made and sturdy. No problem getting my Suburban up in the air.
It rolls well even on my beat up asphalt driveway and is light enough to carry.
The only things that could be better - the lifting foot should be larger and the included rubber pad should have a better way of staying attached to the foot.

The lift works well with my F150 and BMW.

Much better than a standard jack.

Purchased because of the superior quality of this floor jack and stands. Great present keeping a young person safe when repairing his vehicle.

This is certainly more of a "heavy-duty" jack than many others. it has a weight of just over sixty pounds. Easier to maneuver than others I've used. .. Especially with the side handles. Much faster to lift than what I have been using. Just a half-dozen pumps (at most) as opposed to pumping. . . and pumping. . .and pumping.

This is an excellent floor jack. We got this to use when my husband works on our vehicles and it has been put to use quite a few times. There isn't a ton I can say about it other than the fact that it does the job it's intended to do and I'd say the price point is right where it should be.

These must be made by someone else and re-labelled since I have an Arcan brand that is almost identical -- just slightly different colors. They are a combo of aluminum and steel from what I understand, 6k weight, double cylinders. They are fairly light weight, wheels are nice and roll well without any rust yet. Really like the plate with the rubber/plastic insert on it, handle is nice and easy to use.

Nice jack, could be a little lower height, it's not as low as my Costco low profile steel jack but only maybe 1/2¡± taller.
I ordered this jack as opposed to the low profile version because it advertised aluminum. It's every bit as heavy as my full steel jack I already had.
Other than being heavy it is a little tall.
For the average car fine but it will not go under my Gen 2 Cadillac CTSV for an oil change without driving it onto 2 2x12s to gain enough clearance to get the jack under the cross member.
the pros are,
Easily maneuvered
Fast action (7 pumps to full extension)
Well built
Reliable brand
Cons:
Heavy
Not ¡°low profile¡± for a modern sports car
All in all I would buy this jack for commuter car or up to a one ton truck, it's a very sturdy, heavy, well made jack.

This is a great jack! I ordered it because my old one was not holding under load, so it was time for it to be replaced. There are many things that I like about this jack. I have had issues in the past with getting a jack positioned in the right spot because of interference. With its low profile, this one slips right into position without any problem. I also like how fast the jack extends. While I do not change race car tires, I appreciate not needing to work the handle any more than needed. From low to high, it only takes 6 full strokes of the handle. I assume that the dual piston design enables this quicker, and more powerful, jacking capability. The handle is long, which is good for reaching further under a vehicle. I noticed immediately that the casters rolled easily. The jack is not lightweight, and while I will not need to carry it, the two side handles should make carrying easier. One design feature that I would have liked to see with this jack is longer teeth on the lift saddle. Longer teeth are helpful in gripping onto axles and other chassis parts to prevent slipping when the jack needs to roll while being jacked. This feature is not enough to warrant a downgrade in my rating, but it does mean that I will need to be a bit more careful when jacking.

Torin is an established American manufacturer of car lifts, jacks, jack stands, etc. This China-manufactured jack is solid and capable. It's the first semi-commercial floor jack I've ever owned, and now that I've lifted it out of its box, I'm kind of enamored of the cheapo floor jacks I've owned up until now. This jack weighs nearly seventy pounds. It's easily maneuvered, but not easily carried or lifted. The UPS guy was not happy with the weight, and the box was bashed to pieces.
But the jack is solid and pristine. It takes more than a frustrated UPS driver to damage this beast.
Three ton capacity. Some aluminum components, though not all. Dual lift cylinders. A two-part handle with a solid foam scratch guard on the lower portion. Six handle pumps lift jack to full twenty-inch extension.
This is a quality tool of commercial weight and build. If you don't need something this heavy and strong, stick with the lesser two-ton capacity floor jacks you can get for $40. This is for serious lifting where speed counts and weights are significant. Yet even if you don't need the weight capacity of this jack, you might just want it for the extra six inches of lift it provides over the $40 home versions.
